The YU collection, born in 2017 in the beautiful and natural environment of Okayama, is now enriched by new living room and dining room items including the US1 sofa and the UT7 living table, together with the USB2 cupboard and the UT2 table with new steel legs and T wooden legs. All the new items spread a sense of calm that makes the user feel at ease. Created using carefully selected materials that express the quality of the land where they are manufactured, the designs aim for the best comfort and feeling at touch, obtained thanks to skillful processing techniques.
The US1 sofa fully embraces the spirit of the YU collection, thanks to its sculptural beauty of curved shell and the relaxed atmosphere, with a focus on the shape and resilience of the cushions. The range of usability can be expanded with the optional side table. Shaped like a plate, it can be easily attached and detached, keeping a clean image of the sofa without the need of any additional support legs. The UT7 is a living table featuring the same design language of the side table, yet adapted to the different size and use. The USB2 extends the lineup creating an elegant space where cooking utensils and tableware can be stored, not only in the kitchen but also in the dining or living room. The exquisite details make it suitable for home as well as for bistro and restaurants. In addition to the collection there are also two new variations for the legs of the UT2 table, either in steel or wood. The steel legs give a sense of lightness thanks to the reduced thickness and are available in black or in the exclusive zinc plated finish. The T wooden legs add a stable and natural feeling, maintaining the ease of moving the chairs around the table.
